About Mary Wisecup

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist

I believe the most important relationship you have in your life is with yourself. We spend so much time and energy on other people, but it is just as important to put that same energy back into your own wellbeing. Often people find themselves at a point where they feel stuck or frustrated about their relationships, careers, families and even themselves. During those times, it can be immensely helpful to allow someone else to help us reflect and move forward. Today’s world can be very stressful, and I am honored to help people navigate the struggles of balancing all of life’s challenges.

I have worked in both the inpatient psychiatric setting and outpatient setting. I have extensive experience in substance abuse treatment, depression, trauma, grief, anxiety, and persistent mental illness. I am also a practicing Imago therapist and work with couples on relationship struggles.

I am a fully LCSW with 14 years of experience and maintain my license as a Clinical Addiction Specialist. I have a calm nature, and I am straightforward in my approach. I think it’s important to laugh and if appropriate, will encourage you to do the same. More than anything, I enjoy helping people find comfort in the uncomfortableness of a stressful world.
